Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the RetakeHQ app and website ("RetakeHQ"). By buying a subscription, installing, or using RetakeHQ, you agree to them. "We" and "us" mean the developer of RetakeHQ; you can reach us at hello@retakehq.com.

1. Who can use RetakeHQ

You must be at least 13 years old to use RetakeHQ. To buy a subscription you must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission to buy it for you.

2. Subscriptions and billing

• RetakeHQ is sold as a monthly subscription through Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to your purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• We may change the price. We'll tell you by email at least 14 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
• No refunds: payments are non-refundable, including for partial months, except where the law requires otherwise. You can cancel any time to stop future charges.

3. Your license

While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use RetakeHQ for your team, on up to the number of computers your plan allows. One subscription covers one team. You may not:

• share, sell or publish your license key, or use it for more teams or computers than your plan allows;
• try to bypass the license check, or copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
• resell RetakeHQ or offer it as a service to others.

If your subscription ends, the app stops working until you subscribe again. The data already on your computer stays there and stays yours.

4. Your demos and data

You're responsible for the demos you add: only use files you have the right to use, and follow the rules of the platforms you get them from (for example, FACEIT's terms). Your demos, notes and analysis are stored on your computer; we don't own them and don't receive them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Analysis is guidance, not a guarantee

RetakeHQ's win probabilities, scouting reports and suggestions are statistical estimates based on the demos available to it. They can be wrong or incomplete. Use them as one input to your own judgment; we don't promise any particular result in your matches.

6. Fair play

RetakeHQ is for reviewing matches that have already been played. Don't use it in any way that breaks the rules of a game, league, tournament or platform, including any rules against using outside tools during a live match.

7. Third parties

RetakeHQ is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or FACEIT. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation; FACEIT is a trademark of its owner. Features that rely on third-party services (such as FACEIT match import) depend on those services and may change or stop working if they do.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving RetakeHQ, so features may change, and we may release updates you'll need to install. If we ever discontinue RetakeHQ, we'll give active subscribers at least 30 days' notice and stop billing.

9. Ending your access

You can stop using RetakeHQ and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms (for example, sharing your license key publicly). If we end it without a good reason, we'll refund any unused part of your current billing period.

10. Disclaimer

RetakeHQ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't promise the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own backups of files that matter to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to RetakeHQ is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you also keep any protections the laws of your home country give you that can't be waived by contract.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll email subscribers before they take effect. If you keep using RetakeHQ after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel.
