Chance-tested

No made-up differences.

Before we added the test, 3 in 4 match pages showed a "difference" for a team that played exactly like pros. Now it's about 1 in 20.

Win chance, checked

Tested on 69 matches it never saw.

When it gave CT 0–20%, CT won 5% of the time. At 40–60%, 51%. At 80–100%, 90%.

Don't trust it. Check it.

One click opens the replay at that moment. If a sentence and the replay disagree, believe the replay.

“You got 7 opening kills, all on CT, and 6 of them came with the AWP. Four were at Bombsite A, in rounds 18, 26, 27 and 36.”

How the analysis works, and where it stops ›

Five questions to ask any demo tool.

Most review tools tell you what happened. These decide whether you can trust what they say.

Who does it compare you to?

RetakeHQ:342 pro matches, on the same map, side and spot. A number is only called good or bad after that.

Could the difference be luck?

RetakeHQ:Every claim passes a chance test first. About 1 match page in 20 still gets a false line, down from 3 in 4.

Can you check each claim?

RetakeHQ:Every line links the rounds it comes from and opens the replay at that moment.

Does it help you beat the next opponent?

RetakeHQ:Their habits on each map, a veto call and a game plan against their T side, from every match of theirs you have.

Does it say what it can't know?

RetakeHQ:A demo has no voice, so it can't know the call or the plan. The page says so, and shows where it stops.

Your matches stay with your team.

Your uploads, their analysis and your notes are visible only to your team. Other teams can't open them, or even tell they exist. Scout, stacked rounds and "rounds like this one" compare against the pro matches and your own uploads, never another team's. To make RetakeHQ better, we keep an anonymized copy of the match data (every name, SteamID and team name swapped for a random code; never your notes, comments, drawings or AI chats) to train our models. Your team can switch that off with private mode on the Account page. Privacy policy

Stop dying at Mid on T before the plant without a trade. You still had a flash in 3 of those 3 deaths: flash Underpass yourself before you swing. Pros win that fight 44% of the time; you won 1 of 4.

XANTARES, Aurora · Mirage

Questions.

The short answers. The full FAQ has the rest.

What do I need to start?

A CS2 demo file (.dem) and a Steam account to sign in. You'll find your matches in CS2's replay folder or on your FACEIT match page. The pro matches above need no sign-in.

What's free?

The pro matches, the 2D replay viewer, and one upload of your own every 24 hours, kept for 7 days. Paid plans add unlimited uploads, scouting and the match chat.

Who can see my demos and notes?

Only your team. Other teams can't open them, or even tell they exist. Scout and "rounds like this one" only compare against pro matches and your own uploads.

Do you train on my matches?

Only anonymized, and you can switch it off. Every name, SteamID and team name is swapped for a random code first, and private mode on the Account page stops it.

What does the AI do?

Only the match chat, on paid plans. The review itself is written by code and checked against pro matches, and the chat's answers are checked against the match before you read them.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Cancel any time and keep your plan until the period ends. A full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
